concept design by marcel. the toy deviated from the design considerably, because we couldn’t find white felt and i couldn’t wait to get it done soon. but i enjoyed the final result, it looks a bit sesame streetish.

Hello, my pretty. To what do I owe this pleasant surprise? Ah, yes, you want to know where you are. Well, well…
This is Darko Toys, an enterprise of toy-art making and sharing based in Porto Alegre (the southest of all Brazilian capitals). All our pieces are unique, so if you want to bid on one, do so in the comment section of the Post.
Wearing the woman suit in the above picture is Mariana Bandarra (shapeshifting geek) and the man suit is wonderfully worn by Marcel Trindade (multimedia artist).
The main reason we came up with this project is becauase we enjoy toys and toy-art, but don’t have the means to purchase expensive toys (yet), so why not make them, right? Of course, we also like to do things together (oh, l’amour…) and this is a nice and productive way to spend time when my grandmother is in the room and sex is not an option.
We decided to name our project Darko Toys because of this movie, which happens to be one of the bestest ever motion pictures made by man or bunny.
Well, enough with the introductions. Enjoy the toys and bid away!
